General information

Welcome to IAIOS! The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to IAIOS, with registered address at Carrer Santa Esperança, 7, 08401 Granollers (Barcelona), Spain (Amadeu Barbany, NIF 77085596S). IAIOS operates the online shop iaios.com and related services (the "Services") to offer you a thoughtful shopping experience. The shop is powered by Shopify International Limited, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with our privacy policy, our shipping policy and our returns and exchanges policy, govern your rights and obligations when you use the Services or shop at iaios.com. Please read them carefully. By using the Services or placing an order, you accept these Terms. Nothing in them limits the rights you have under Spanish and European consumer protection law.

1. Access and account

You must be of legal age to make a purchase. To use the Services, we may ask you for information such as your email address and your billing, payment and shipping details. You guarantee that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity carried out through your account.

2. Our products

We do our best to display our products accurately. Please note that colours may vary slightly depending on the screen you use to view the shop, and that our garments are made in small workshops, so they may show slight variations typical of a handcrafted product. Descriptions and availability may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product.

3. Orders

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase and authorise us and our payment processors to charge the total amount to your chosen payment method. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation by email. We reserve the right not to accept an order for justified reasons (for example, lack of stock, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud); in that case we will let you know and refund any amount charged. Please check your order before confirming it: once it has been placed we cannot change it. Purchases are for personal use and not for resale.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT. Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout, before you confirm your purchase, in accordance with our shipping policy. For shipments outside the European Union, import taxes or duties may apply and are payable by the customer. Prices and promotions may change without notice; the applicable price is the one in force when you place your order and is the one shown in the confirmation. Prices on the website may differ from those in our physical shops or at other points of sale. Promotions and discount codes are subject to their own terms. You guarantee that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

5. Shipping and delivery

Shipping times, rates and destinations are set out in our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier, customs or circumstances beyond our control, in which case we will let you know. If we cannot deliver your order within a reasonable time, you may cancel it and we will refund the amount paid.

6. Right of withdrawal, exchanges and returns

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. To exercise it, simply notify us by email (admin@iaios.com) or through our returns portal, and send the product back to us no later than 14 days after your notice. We will refund the amount of your order, including standard shipping costs, no later than 14 days after we receive the product, using the same payment method. Return shipping costs are borne by you unless the product is faulty or was sent in error.

In addition, and going beyond the statutory right, we accept exchanges and returns for 30 days from receipt (60 days from November to January), with the first exchange in mainland Spain free of charge, as set out in our returns and exchanges policy. The product must be in perfect condition and have its original tags. Gift cards cannot be returned.

7. Guarantee

All our products come with the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity provided for under Spanish law. If you receive a product that is faulty or does not match what you bought, email us at admin@iaios.com and we will repair it, replace it or refund you, at no cost to you. We also offer a repair service for our jumpers to extend their useful life.

8. Intellectual property

The Services and all their content (trademarks, texts, images, garment designs, biographies, videos and audio) are the property of IAIOS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. You may use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit any content without our prior written consent. Buying a product does not give you any rights over its design or brand.

9. Third-party links and tools

The Services may include links or tools from third parties (for example, the returns portal, payment gateways or social media) that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or how they work; please review their terms before using them.

10. Relationship with Shopify and privacy

The shop is powered by Shopify; when you use the Services, your device communicates with Shopify's systems, which process certain information as explained in our privacy policy and in Shopify's Privacy Policy. Sales are made directly between you and IAIOS; Shopify is not a party to the sales contract. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and share your personal data.

11. Comments and reviews

If you send us comments, reviews, photos or other content, you grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and publish it in any medium for purposes related to the Services, including their promotion. You guarantee that the content is yours, that it does not infringe third-party rights and that it is not unlawful, offensive or misleading. We may remove any content we consider inappropriate.

12. Errors and inaccuracies

Occasionally the website may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies in descriptions, prices, promotions or availability. We reserve the right to correct them and, if an order has been placed with an obvious pricing error, to cancel it, informing you and refunding any amount charged.

13. Prohibited uses

You may only use the Services for lawful purposes. You must not: use them for fraudulent or malicious purposes; infringe intellectual property rights; harass or harm others; send false information or unsolicited content (spam); introduce viruses or malicious code; copy, scrape or resell any part of the Services; collect personal data of third parties; or access the Services using bots, crawlers, automated tools or artificial intelligence agents without identifying yourself or in order to bypass security measures. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms.

14. Liability

The Services are provided with due care, but we do not guarantee that their use will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, IAIOS will not be liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or the rights you have under consumer law.

15. Electronic communications

By using the Services or placing an order, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically (by email, notifications in your account or notices on the website) about your orders, your account, returns or these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms to adapt them to legal, technical or commercial changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date. Changes apply to orders placed after their publication; each order is governed by the Terms in force at the time it was placed.

17. Severability, assignment and waiver

If any clause of these Terms is declared void or unenforceable, the rest will remain valid. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our consent. Our failure to exercise a right provided for in these Terms does not constitute a waiver of it.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the consumer's place of residence. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you can also use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. These Terms are available in Spanish, Catalan, English and German; in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
